JACKSONVILLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
BAGGAGE INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM (BIDS) REPLACEMENT
Sealed bids will be received by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218 until 2:00 PM local time, July 24, 2012, at which time they shall be opened in the JAA 2nd Floor Conference Room, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218, for:
This project includes removal of existing Baggage Information Display System (BIDS) LED signs and some modifications to the existing support structure to receive replacement signage and BIDS monitors in the Jacksonville International Airport Baggage Claim area. Project also includes removal of 2 existing static signs over the existing escalators and installation of 2 new signage panels with monitors.
There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held in the JAA 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Administrative Offices, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218, at 2:00 PM on July 10, 2012.
Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids. Contract Bonding shall also be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. The Authority has determined that NO SBE participation goals will be prescribed for this project. As a good corporate citizen JAA fully supports the usage of SBE/DBE on JAA projects. We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of SBE/DBEs at every opportunity.
This project will be bid as a single contract. Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with Project Manual for Contract No. c-772 which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from:

It is the sole responsibility of each prospective bidder to assure that the Office of the Manager, Engineering & Construction, is kept informed of his or her current mailing address, telephone number and fax number.
Complete sets of drawings and specifications may be purchased from REYNOLDS, SMITH AND HILLS, INC. for $75.00 per set, plus the cost of mailing or overnight shipping, after 3:00 p.m., June 25, 2012. Partial sets of drawings and specifications will not be issued. The purchase price for the contract documents is not refundable.
