JACKSONVILLE AVIATION AUTHORITY

JAA CONTRACT NO. C-790A

                                         

 

Sealed bids will be received by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218 until 2:00 PM local time, June 16, 2015, at which time they shall be opened in the JAA 2nd Floor Conference Room, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32218, for:

 

FedEx Drainage - Additional Pipe Repairs

 

This project includes: Removal of silts/debris and dewatering 157 LF of 42” RCP and 2 existing Storm Structures. Sealing (portions) and Lining (CIPP) 157 LF of 42” RCP. Repair and seal the walls and floors of the same 2 storm structures. Replace/compact subgrade, base, pavement, and curb above pipe work.

 

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference held in the JAA 2nd Floor Conference Room of the Administrative Offices, 14201 Pecan Park Road, Jacksonville, Florida  32218, at 2::00 PM on May 28, 2015.

 

Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.  Contract Bonding shall also be required.  The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.  The Authority has determined that NO SBE participation goal will be prescribed for this project. As a good corporate citizen JAA fully supports the usage of SBE/DBE on JAA projects.  We encourage our business partners to maximize the utilization of SBE/DBEs at every opportunity.

 

 

This project will be bid as a single contract.  Bid prices may be held for up to 90 days. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Project Manual for Contract No. C-790A which may be examined in the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Administration Building Office, or obtained from:

Complete PDF sets of drawings and specifications will be provided via CD. CD’s may be purchased, by check only, from Michael Baker Jr., Inc. for $25.00 per CD, plus the cost of mailing or overnight shipping, after 3:00 p.m., May 20, 2015. The purchase price for the CD is not refundable. Electronic copies of bid documents will not be provided via email or any other internet based system.
