April 3, 2018 \u2014<\/strong> Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) today announces new service from two cities to Jacksonville: Louisville, Kentucky and Norfolk, Virginia. There is no better time to get away your way, with one-way fares on the new routes as low as $49.*<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re very excited to grow again in Jacksonville,\u201d said Lukas Johnson, Allegiant senior vice president of commercial. \u201cThere is great demand for travel to Florida\u2019s east coast, and we\u2019re sure that folks in these two cities will take advantage of our convenient, ultra-low-cost, nonstop service to enjoy this sunny destination.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>New seasonal service to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) include:<\/p>\n<p>1. Louisville, Kentucky via Louisville International Airport (SDF) \u2013 beginning June 8, 2018 with fares as low as $49.*<\/p>\n<p>2. Norfolk, Virginia via Norfolk International Airport (ORF) \u2013 beginning June 14, 2018 with fares as low as $49.*<\/p>\n<p>The new routes will operate twice weekly and expand on the service Allegiant currently operates to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), bringing the total number of Allegiant routes to JAX to eight. The new flights will bring over 6,000 additional visitors to the area. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Allegiant.com\">Allegiant.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith these new destinations, Allegiant offers nonstop flights to eight cities from Jacksonville,\u201d said Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) CEO Steve Grossman, \u201cToday\u2019s announcement will connect two large military communities, while also providing service to the home of the Kentucky Derby.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Allegiant offers a unique option to Florida-bound travelers with low base fares and savings on rental cars and hotels.
