The flights will initially operate on Saturday and Sunday. Community support of the flight is important to ensure the flight\u2019s success, with hopes to see Southwest increase the flights to daily service.<br \/>\nHere\u2019s how the schedule breaks down:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday<\/strong><br \/>\nDAL \u00a0 \u00a0 11:40 am \u00a0 \u00a0 JAX \u00a0 \u00a0 3:00 pm<br \/>\nJAX \u00a0 \u00a0 3:30 pm \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0DAL \u00a0 \u00a0 5:20 pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday<\/strong><br \/>\nDAL \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a01:50 pm \u00a0 \u00a0 JAX \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a05:00 pm<br \/>\nJAX \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a06:30 pm\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0DAL \u00a0 \u00a0 8:25 pm<\/p>\n<p>This will be Southwest\u2019s seventh nonstop destination from Jacksonville. The carrier currently serves Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, Houston (Hobby), Chicago (Midway), Nashville and Las Vegas (on a seasonal basis). In this new schedule, travelers will also see additional daily frequency to both Nashville and Baltimore.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth Dallas and Nashville are significant connecting points for Southwest flights as well, giving local travelers additional options when traveling to the West Coast ,\u201d Jacksonville Aviation Authority CEO Steve Grossman said.<\/p>\n<p>For Northeast Florida travelers, this represents the 10th city the airport has added to its route map since April of this year.
