Just in time for the summer travel season, Silver Airways announced plans for nonstop service between Jacksonville and Nassau. The nonstop flight is scheduled to start on May 28, 2016. Silver is offering introductory fares as low as $99 through 11:59 pm EST on March 31, 2016, for travel between June 1, 2016 and June 29, 2016.
The flight will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Here’s what the schedule looks like:

Today’s announcement is Silver’s third nonstop destination from Jacksonville. They currently offer nonstop service to Tampa and Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas.
“We are thrilled to be the first airline to introduce the much-requested service between Jacksonville and Nassau. Silver has long been committed to the Jacksonville area and we appreciate the great support we receive from its community and airport,” Silver Airways President and CEO Sami Teittinen said in a statement.
From Jacksonville, Silver currently offers nonstop service to Tampa and Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas, as well as convenient connections to a number of other Florida destinations.
