According to a study conducted by the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) Aviation Office in March 2010[1], Cecil Airport provides an annual economic impact of approximately $749 million and about 5,437 direct and indirect aviation-related jobs in the Northeast Florida region. The study also indicates that Cecil ranks first among general aviation airports in Florida for total employment and payroll and second in total economic impact.
