JAXEX Observation Area
At the observation area located next to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) administrative offices, members of the community are welcome to watch planes take off and touch down. Whether relaxing in a rocking chair or enjoying a picnic lunch, visitors can view the airport activity while listening to transmissions from the control tower.
School Tours

Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagles
The Young Eagles Program was created by the EAA to pass their love of flying onto the next generation. Local members of the EAA give interested young people the opportunity fly in a general aviation aircraft completely free of charge. To learn more visit
