Jacksonville International Airport has earned a top spot among comparably sized airports for customer satisfaction in the J.D. Power 2019 North American Airport Satisfaction Survey.

“We are thrilled to be recognized for the excellent customer service we provide at JAX. Our airport is a gateway to the Northeast Florida region that our community can be proud of,” shared Mark VanLoh, Chief Executive Officer of the Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA). “As our team meets the challenges of record passenger growth and managing ongoing improvements to our parking facilities and terminal, our sights are still firmly set on our number one goal: ensuring that JAX provides an outstanding passenger experience to all travelers.”

JAX was ranked second place with a score of 831 points based on a 1,000 point scale. The average score for other medium-sized airports was 803.

Last year, JAX was the fastest-growing airport in the United States, and in July it generated the most revenue in one month in the airport’s history.

JAA invites customer feedback through a survey on its website, flyjax.com.
