The Jacksonville AviationAuthority is preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday travel season by openingthe Economy Lot 3 at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) from Wednesday, November21, through Tuesday, November 27, or until the lot fills up, for a flat fee of$20. The fee is payable with cash or credit card uponentry.
This specialevent lot will operate on a first-come first-serve basis and may close withoutnotice. Free shuttle service is available until November 27. Vehicles remainingin Economy Lot 3 after November 27 may be towed at the owner’s expense.
Travelersshould arrive at least two hours before their flight to allow additional timeto locate parking if their first parking choice is not available.
Other parkingoptions include Economy Lots 1 and 2 ($5.00 per day), Daily Surface Lot ($8.00per day), Daily Garage ($14.00 per day) or the Hourly Garage ($18.00 per day).All prices include tax.
JAA recommendsthat travelers who meet and greet their families/friends use the hourly garage,if available. Another option is to wait in the free courtesy waiting lot,located next to the JAA’s administration building, until family/friends arrive.
