SilverAirways will resume weekly nonstop service from Jacksonville InternationalAirport (JAX) to Marsh Harbour, Bahamas, beginning Saturday, February 15, 2014.The airline will then add an additional Sunday flight beginning on Sunday,March 2 and ending on April 27, 2014.
Bothflights will depart Jacksonville at 9:11 a.m. and arrive in the Bahamas atapproximately 10:56 a.m. Silver will utilize a 34-seat Saab 340 for theflight.
“Silver’sadditional flight to Marsh Harbour gives travelers another option to visit theBahamas during the most popular time of year,” Jacksonville Aviation AuthorityExecutive Director/CEO Steve Grossman said. “The community’s continued supportof this service is essential as we encourage Silver to increase their presencein Northeast Florida.”
