Delta Air Lines Announces New Nonstop Service Between Jacksonville and Boston

Delta Air Lines will begin daily nonstop service from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) to Boston’s Logan Airport (BOS) starting Monday, March 3, 2014.

The flight will depart Boston at 7:00 a.m., arriving in Jacksonville at approximately 10:05 a.m. The return flight will depart Jacksonville at 5:35 p.m., arriving in Boston at 8:10 p.m. Delta will utilize a 76-seat CR9 for the flight. The aircraft will also be equipped with First Class and Coach Cabins.

Delta is the second air carrier to connect Jacksonville and Boston; JetBlue also flies daily between the two cities.

“The Jacksonville community now has an additional choice when flying to Boston,” Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) External Affairs Director Michael Stewart said. “This is good for both business and leisure travelers.”
