November 14, 2014

This week’s announcement that Allegiant Air will begin non-stop service from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) in early 2015, is good news for local travelers.

“We are very excited to welcome our newest carrier, Allegiant Air, to Jacksonville International Airport,” Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) Executive Director/CEO Steve Grossman said. “Their nonstop service to Pittsburgh and Cincinnati gives Northeast Floridians more options when traveling to the Midwest.”

Beginning February 12, 2015, Allegiant will fly non-stop to Cincinnati, Ohio, on Thursdays and Sundays.

Beginning February 13, 2015, travelers can fly non-stop to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Mondays and Fridays.

Reserve your flight at Allegiantair.com.

To celebrate its expansion into Jacksonville, Allegiant is offering the opportunity to win free Allegiant flights for an entire year. Winners and a friend of their choosing will fly free from their local airport as frequently as once a month for a year. To enter, visit http://ow.ly/EhisN
