Southwest Airlines will offer new, nonstop flights from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) starting on October 2, 2025.
The outbound flight will depart JAX at 11:55 a.m. and arrive in Austin at approximately 12:35 p.m. The inbound flight will depart Austin at 12:50 p.m. and arrive in Jacksonville at approximately 4:15 p.m. The airline will operate the flight every day of the week except for Saturdays.
“Southwest is a beloved airline with strong brand loyalty,” Jacksonville Aviation Authority (JAA) CEO Mark VanLoh said. “We have no doubt that their service to Austin will be successful.”
According to schedule data published by Cirium, Diio Mi, Southwest currently offers nonstop service from Jacksonville to Baltimore (BWI), Chicago (MDW), Dallas (DAL), Denver (DEN), Houston (HOU), Nashville (BNA) and St. Louis. The airline will also offer Saturday-only service to Kansas City (MCI) starting on June 7.
